Ice T came on stage, did his usual crowd banter, and once the band's music started, I even lost my spot in the pit area, and as I looked back, the lady was long gone, drowning in a sea of sweaty dudes trying to get out.
I tried warning her about the mosh area again but I don't think she understood that we all will lose this standing spot because of the pit that will happen. She continued trying to argue with me, but I shrugged my shoulders & ignored her. Plus, this is a general admission concert: there are no assigned seats, and people will freely move around if they want when they see a spot free. However, I tried my best explaining to her that this zone (the frontal/middle part of the venue) will have a huge mosh pit. had I known, I would've just left the spot for her. I had that spot reserved, you're an asshole." I didn't noticed her at all when I took the spot. She was like "OMG, like, that's soooo rude. This lady, who doesn't look like she's even been to a hardcore show (Ugg boots, casual blue jeans, cardigan top, Coach purse, etc), picked an argument with me. I noticed a empty spot ahead, and wanted to get closer to the stage, so I moved to that spot. I was in the middle of the venue, in the pit area, waiting for the band to come on during sound check.
This reminds me of a past Body Count show I went to.
